Our Masonic year 2014 has begun with an outstanding first Stated Communication and presentation (excerpted in the present Bulletin). February and the coming months herald many inspiring Masonic activities both inside and outside the portals of Arminius Lodge:
- In February, our Webmaster and new member Andrew Lawless will give a thorough “workshop” on the new Arminius website and how Arminius members can contribute their ideas and talents to our on-line presence.
- Our March presenter will speak on how Free-Masonry subtends and intersects, to use our geometrician allegory, other eighteenth- and nineteenth-century currents of American culture.
- In April, we will welcome our Grand Master and the Grand Lodge officer line. In order to do so in due and ancient form, it is imperative that the officers meet for rehearsal and preparation. I will be announcing a date and time at the February Stated Communication.
To this end of improvement in Masonic Ritual and Protocol, officers and members might well benefit from participation in the Grand Lodge School of Instruction as well as enjoy the Founders’ Day Festive Board held on 22 February 2014 at the Scottish Rite Temple.
RSVP by 17 February 2014 to R:.W:.B:. Roman Volsky, Junior Grand Warden, The Grand Lodge School of Instruction is free of charge, the Lunch is $15, and the Founders’ Day Festive Board is $25. The Grand Lodge School of Instruction, Lunch, and the Festive Board can all be reserved for the single price of $30. I look forward to our next meeting and our continued strivings towards further Light, zum Besten der Loge und im Allgemeinen der Freimaurerei.
